The Power of Focus

One of the best things you can do for yourself is FOCUS. I’ve outlined a few different ways I have managed to control my focus, find them below: Limit your exposure to the things that don’t serve you. I was thinking back to when I began my fitness journey. I became obsessed with all things fitness. I would YouTube ab routines, stalk fitness Instagram pages, google articles about nutrition, etc! I have friends & family that express their wants of being fit, losing weight, & working out & can tell you about all the gossip & all the new fashions but still don’t know how much water they should consume, or what a healthy source of fat is. Ditch the things are not related to the goals you want because what you read & what you see is what becomes your reality. If you’re not feeding your mind with what you want it to focus on, how will it redirect itself. You control your focus! The quickest way to reach a goal is by focusing on it, …

5 Ways I Manage To …

Greetings Friends, I hope this email finds you well. We are walking into the weekend and I wanted to give you a little inspiration to stay focused in the midst of temptation. Below you will find a list of the top 5 ways I manage to stay consistent with my meal plan everyday of the week, NO EXCEPTIONS! Understanding that there will be good days and there will be bad days. If you’re anything like I used to be then you’re optimistic and foresee more of the good than you do the bad. I used to love that about me. I thought it was a characteristic that contributed to why I’m so “fun.” But once I became a businesswoman I quickly learned, that way of thinking is dangerous. It leaves too much room for error. If you practice preparing for the bad days you’ll ALWAYS be prepared, leaving very LITTLE room for error. This spills into every realm of life, as much as we want to believe life is peaches and cream, it’s not! …

Meal Planning

Hello May 🙂 Happy May 1st Friends, I can’t believe we are walking into May so vastly. Since the start of the year, as we approach each new month I remind myself of how precious time is. I don’t know if it’s wisdom, me being a mother, or me having recently experiencing my grandmother’s loss but I’ve been so much more present this year. Consistently trying to ground myself, stay aware of how precious time is, and share my gratitude as it comes. Ok … without further ado let’s talk FOOD! For those who follow me on Instagram I know I mentioned providing a meal plan, however I came to realize it is far too tedious and time consuming to do, considering the limited time I have. I’d be happy to offer 1 on 1 meal planning for a small fee, find more information & the listing here. Instead of providing a meal plan, I’ve chosen to center this article around helping you understand how to eat. This may take a few different post, but …

Juice …

Juice … I don’t drink it, ever! I only drink water, coffee, tea, & cold pressed green juice on a regular basis. On occasion I’ll have some diet soda and I knowwwwwww, it’s not the best for me, but I like to have it every now and then. Oh & a glass of wine or a little vodka, but not often at all. Ok, back to juice, I don’t drink it because it’s a waste of calories & is more often than not jam packed with sugars even if it’s “organic” or even if it’s a green juice with fruit in it. Just because something is “healthy” doesn’t mean it’s going to help you reach your fitness goals. That’s a really important sentence to keep in mind. So many people that come to me for advice about how to eat, what to eat, or when to eat have this misconception about healthy foods/drinks vs. something that’s going to help you lose fat. There’s a big difference between the two! When focusing on fat loss, which …
