One month ago, I embarked on a physical and mental fitness journey with Jazmin, owner and founder of j fitness 90210. For most of my adulthood, I’ve always been able to maintain my shape and size with a moderate to low fitness level. It wasn’t until recently, this past year, I noticed my body started changing and my metabolism seemed to have slowed down. My clothes were fitting differently and I started feeling insecure about certain parts of my body.
Being unhappy with my recent weight gain and poor eating habits led me to reach out to Jazmin. I was eager to make a change. Jazmin is well versed in the nutritional and fitness world, so I couldn’t think of a better person to work with. I was certain that Jazmin would not only hold me accountable but that she would also educate me along the way, which is what I was really looking forward to.
Many of us have personal health and fitness goals that we struggle to achieve on our own. Sometimes we need an extra push to really make a change in our lifestyles. I thought this process would be intimidating and that I’d burn out quickly with such a structured routine but Jazmin was very involved throughout the entire program making sure I was comfortable and positively adjusting to the changes.
My top priority was my diet and weight loss. Throughout the program, she curated weekly meal plans, provided tips on meal preparation for my busy work schedule, weekly check-ins, guided workouts, and effortless mental support.
She held me accountable for my goals and helped me create new habits. She was also dedicated to ensuring my mental fitness was a priority for me, which was so beneficial to my overall success. She made sure I stayed on top of my journaling not only for days that I felt great but also those that were a bit more challenging and reassured me that she’d always be there for any questions or concerns I had. This kept me motivated. I knew that everyday would not be easy but I knew Jazmin would be there for me no matter what. Seeing my results each week made me feel really good. I was focused and dedicated to achieving my goals and it felt good to see the hard work paying off.
After one month, I am more than pleased with my progress. My starting weight was 165 pounds and I was able to lose 12.5 in just 4 weeks! Something that would not have been possible without Jazmin’s help. Throughout the entire process, Jazmin was professional, attentive and accessible.
I’m excited to continue this journey and maintain everything I’ve learned over the course of the program. I needed this push, I needed a reset and I’m ready to see my body transform even more. I feel so much healthier and stronger.
